  A variety of specialized accounting subjects will provide students with a general understanding of the basic concepts of accounting as applied in business offices in both the public and private sectors as staff accountants and office management trainees in specialized areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

  This curriculum will provide students with general entry-level accounting functions needed in business offices. Employment opportunities are also available as bookkeepers and payroll clerks.
